Over the years our organisation has changed with the times. A monthly newsletter was once posted out but with rising postage costs and the use of the internet things have moved on. From posting out brochures we all now need websites to promote our businesses, getting more sophisticated with YouTube videos, webcams and online booking systems.
We are a non-profit making organisation, run by, and for, our members and aim to provide a valued service to our members. Our networking meetings give you a chance to meet other tourism businesses and some interesting speakers keep us up to date with changes within the law and the required changes you may need to make. Our regular training courses are subsidised and make sure that you have access to the qualifications you may need. We also regularly lobby our Member of Parliament when new rules are brought in which may affect tourism – in other words we are the voice of tourism businesses in South East Cornwall, as a group we have more chance of being heard than a few individuals.
